Speed Limit Restrictions

Speed limit reductions on the N59 on each side of the town, and on the Knockferry Road will be implemented from the 26th of January. These are for your safety and yours. Speed Limit Signs will be erected reflecting the new limits and these are legally enforceable.

The 60km/h zone is extended from Clydagh Bridge almost to Clooniffe Cross.

On the western side, the 50km/h zone is extended as shown in the image attached.

On the Knockferry Road, Homefarm Road, and Leagaun Road 50km/h zones extended as per the images.
